Heat network professionals from across the UK will gather at Glasgow's historic Trades Hall on 24 September 2026 for REHAU’s Next Level Heat Networks, a dedicated industry workshop focused on the future of low carbon heat infrastructure and the growing role of heat networks in Scotland's energy transition.
As Scotland accelerates its journey towards net zero, heat networks are set to play a critical role in decarbonising heat, tackling fuel poverty and delivering resilient, locally generated energy solutions. With growing policy support, new regulations and increasing investment in low carbon heating, the sector is entering a pivotal phase of development.
Organised by REHAU, the event will bring together local authorities, housing providers, developers, consultants, contractors, and ESCOs to explore the latest developments in heat network design, delivery and regulation.

Industry experts will share insights on the evolving Scottish heat network landscape, innovative approaches to network design, and the practical steps needed to deliver future-ready heat infrastructure. The workshop features presentations from professionals across the sector, including representatives from Heat Network Scotland, SAV Systems, REHAU, Turner & Townsend, Re:heat and Petrie Buchanan.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly in panel discussions and exchange experiences with peers working on projects across Scotland.
A key theme of the event is collaboration.
